Have you ever wondered what you can do to bring more happiness into your life? Try this: express your gratitude. Over the past year and a half, I have been trying to tell those around me how much they mean to me, and how grateful I am to have them in my life. I’m sure you can agree that to be on the receiving end of an expression of gratitude also feels pretty good. I’ve been inspired lately to start running again. While I’ve been contemplating it for the past couple of weeks, I made a spur of the moment decision this morning to lace up my shoes & get out there as soon as I got home from dropping my youngest off at preschool. It’s been almost 7 years now since I’ve been running – I used to run and bike consistently, and would train for races – short and long distance. I loved it. I’ve had many excuses over the years as to why I couldn’t get back out there, and to a certain degree they were valid reasons. I now have both the time and the motivation, and it feels great!
